Why We Built It
Printed Henry County directories survive only in scattered editions, while current records are split among county and state offices. Ownership belongs to the Henry County Tax Assessor and Superior Court Clerk. Voter access follows Georgia law. Historical material rests at Brown House, the Georgia Archives, and other library collections. We bring the official search links, coverage dates, office contacts, fees, and access limits together as one Henry County reference.
What Is Included
- Pages by purpose: the street directory for address records, city directories for historical volumes, and resident lookup for one-person searches
- The rolls and offices: assessor, recorder, elections office, court clerk, vital records, the library's local history collection
- Walkthroughs: how to trace who lives on a street, how to read a directory entry, how to follow a household across the decades
- Access rules: what Georgia law opens, what remains restricted, and how to request a record that is not online
Limits of Our Role
This is a privately run reference site. It is not connected with Henry County, any Georgia agency, court, office, library, or records custodian. These limits apply:
- We cannot confirm whether a specific person currently lives in Henry County
- We cannot pull, certify, or change any record on your behalf
- We cannot add anyone to, or remove anyone from, any roll or database
- We cannot give legal advice about a record or a dispute
- We cannot promise that every coverage year, link, or office detail here is current at this moment
Only the custodian office can confirm, certify, or correct a record. Nothing found through this site may be used for credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions.
